Forces Equine Police Team Place 7th at Royal Windsor Horse Show 2025
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of the Forces Equine Police Team, who proudly secured 7th place at the Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS) 2025 — one of the most prestigious events in the UK equestrian calendar.
The team was expertly captained by Sgt Amy Battle of West Yorkshire Police, riding her stunning horse Burnhamite Samsara. Joining her were two accomplished riders:
- PC Ruth Walker of Humberside Police, riding Bello Biscotto
- DC Nic Foley of Lincolnshire Police, riding Princess Tia Beanie
Together, they represented Forces Equine with professionalism, passion, and determination, competing against top teams from across the country. Their teamwork, commitment, and skill were evident in every stride — and we couldn't be prouder of their performance.
"It's an honour to represent Forces Equine at such a prestigious event," said team captain Sgt Amy Battle. "We gave it everything, and to come away with a top 10 finish is a real testament to the effort and support behind us."
It was an honour to fly the police checkers with the Forces Equine team at Windsor for another year running. Riding at such a prestigious event is an opportunity I never thought imaginable, dreams really do come true! said PC Ruth Walker.

From early training sessions to the electric atmosphere at Windsor, the journey has been nothing short of inspirational. These riders are not only ambassadors for their forces but also for the values of unity, resilience, and equestrian excellence.
We are deeply proud they flew the Forces Equine flag with such grace and strength.
